Have you thought of becoming a blacksmith? Want to know more about blacksmithing? Interested in learning a past skill or starting a new hobby. This course is for you. Geared for beginners with little or no experience, this 4-hour class will teach the participants about fire, shop safety, tools, equipment, basic forging skills and use of the anvil, and hammer control. This is an outdoor event. Demonstrations will be conducted outside the NE AR Blacksmiths’ mobile trailer that transports the group’s equipment such as forges and anvils along with other tools.
