Founded in 2018, The Paragould Advertising & Promotion Commission is responsible for the allocation of taxes collected from visitors who stay in hotels, motels, or bed and breakfasts within the city limits of Paragould.The tax is levied at 3% of the total costs of lodging for any given stay.

The purpose of the Board of Directors is to establish policy and procedures for the corporation and the operation of its facilities; to authorize the officers of the corporation to act on behalf of the corporation; to borrow money and enter into agreements with lending institutions; to review and approve actions by committees established herein and ad hoc committees established by the Board; to elect officers; and to amend By-Laws.

The City of Paragould Land Bank’s mission is to stabilize and revitalize abandoned properties to sustain and stimulate a more equitable and inclusive community. We will strive to acquire vacant and abandoned properties in an effort to reduce urban blight and return them to productive use, improve the health and safety of neighborhoods within the City of Paragould, and maximize the overall physical experience of residents and visitors beyond just our property inventory.
