  2. DEPOSIT

    A credit card will be required at key pickup for your event.  All fees associated with damages, violated rules or clean up labor will be charged to this card.  There is a minimum charge of $50 dollars, but this will only apply in the event of a violation of your contract.

  3. Rental Payment

    One hundred percent (100%) of the rental fee is required at the time of booking.  Rooms will not be guaranteed without payment made in full and a completed contract.  All checks should be made payable to the City of Paragould

  4. Cancelation Policy

    Refunds will only be granted in the event of facility closures due to factors beyond control of the Paragould Parks & Recreation Department.

  9. Rental Fee: $150

    Rental Time is 9:00am - 11:00pm
    HOURS CANNOT BE ALTERED - EARLY ENTRY WILL RESULT IN CHARGE TO CARD ON FILE
    These hours are inclusive of necessary time for preparation, event time, and post event clean up.

    Key may be picked up from the Paragould Community Center the day prior to your event

    Nothing may be attached to walls, floors, or ceilings.  This includes pushpins, tape sticky tack, etc.   Failure to follow this rule will result in a charge to the credit card on file.

  13. DEPOSITS & KEY RETURN

          Weekend rentals (Fri, Sat, & Sun) keys should be returned the following MONDAY - no sooner - so proper inspection of building can be made.    
         Weekday rentals can return key the following day.  
         Buildings are checked at various times during your rental to ensure rules are being followed.

    Common issues that WILL result in Deposit being charged:

    1.  Doors not locked upon departure.
    2.  Premises not vacated at designated time or entering before rental time begins.
    3.  The facility and furnishings are not left in a clean condition at the end of the rental.
    4.  There is damage to the facility, furnishings, and/or grounds.
    5.  Any rental guest displays improper conduct as determined by parks staff.  Improper conduct shall include, but not limited to, presence of alcohol or drugs, apparent intoxication, abusive or threatening language, physical violence, and lewd behavior.  
    6.  Police presence required.

    ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED

         No person is permitted to bring, use or serve alcoholic beverages in the building or on the property.

    DECORATIONS/ENTERTAINMENT

         No decorations can be attached to any part of the facility (this includes walls, doors, ceilings, etc.).  
         Any for profit events taking place on the premises must be pre-approved by management.

    CONFETTI/SPARKLERS/GLITTER/CANDLES

         Confetti, sparklers and burning candles are not permitted. 

    SUPERVISION

         Parks and Recreation Department staff will have complete authority over the facility, all equipment, participants and activities, including the authority to request changes in activities  or cessation of activities.  
         The renter must be present during the entire rental period and must be available to meet with staff if necessary.
         There shall also be at least one adult for every 15 minors in attendance, who shall remain for the duration of event.

    ROOM SET-UP

         Leave tables set up and stack folded chairs on top.  There are approximately 19 tables and 150 chairs in the building.  

    FACILITY CLEAN UP RULES & PROCEDURES

    1.  The room clean-up is the responsibility of the renter and must be finished during rental hours. This includes sweeping, mopping and cleaning tables.
    2.  The renter is responsible for leaving the facility in the same condition as when the rental began.
    3.  ALL GARBAGE must be placed in trash bags and disposed of in the outside dumpster .
    4.  All tables must be wiped clean with chairs folded and placed on top of the table.
    5.  Kitchen must have counters cleaned, sink clean and free of food and trash, all left over food removed, microwave and refrigerator cleaned and spills on floor cleaned.
    6.  Please put the thermostat at 72 degrees when leaving.

    LOCKING UP PROCDURES

         All three sets of doors must be locked before leaving.  Please make sure you check all doors before exiting at the end of your rental.  Renter will be held responsible for any damage done to the building if they fail to secure all doors.
