The Investigations Division is responsible for conducting in-depth investigations into serious and complex criminal activity affecting the community. This division encompasses Criminal Investigations, the Street Crimes Unit, and the Drug Task Force, each working collaboratively to identify offenders, develop actionable intelligence, and bring cases to successful resolution.
Investigators handle felony-level offenses, violent crime, narcotics trafficking, and repeat offender investigations, utilizing intelligence-led policing, surveillance, interviews, and coordination with Patrol and other specialized units. The division also works closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to address crimes that cross jurisdictional boundaries.
Through proactive enforcement and thorough follow-up investigations, the Investigations Division plays a critical role in public safety, offender accountability, and long-term crime reduction.
